Sometimes we fall in love with Jesus.
And we want to make Him more like us so that others will like us and Him.
But deep down we know that to be like Him, the world will be more inclined to hate us and Him.
Jesus said that no student is greater than his teacher. So if the world hated Him, then they’re going to hate us even more.
What a beautiful, worthy challenge and blessing it is to love someone when they hate your guts. That is like Jesus.
