Sometimes we fall in love with Jesus.
And we want to make Him more like us so that others will like us and Him.
But deep down we know that to be like Him, the world will be more inclined to hate us and Him.
Jesus said that no student is greater than his teacher. So if the world hated Him, then they’re going to hate us even more.

haha, so I called a certain electronics store to ask if they sold 2cr5 batteries…
and the guy I spoke with looked and asked his co-workers… and still wasn’t quite sure.
Then he asked “is this for like a canon or nikon?”
and I replied, “no, it’s a film camera. It’s a Minolta film camera.”

I’m not so sure that it is what we see that ever kills us… it’s more like what we can’t see.
We can’t see it coming, we can’t see how it does us in, we can’t see how it slowly takes away our lives… we just inherently know it’s going to come, we inherently know we won’t last forever, and we inherently know that it will do us in.

Whywhywhy?
The more I observe the type of person I’m becoming.. or already am, the more I laugh.
When did I become so deeply interested in 35mm film? Or interested in bands that I never hear on the radio? Why did I request a sewing machine in high school for Christmas? Why do I deeply enjoy fog? or coffee? or new friends? Why? Why? Why? blah blah…

I’ve talked about it before, but I will make it happen.
God recently provided me with a way to finally buy some more film… so my goal this weekend is to develop maybe 2 rolls and buy 1 new roll.
I’m so excited to finally do this and so thankful that I can!
